...Just got back from Denver. A very well rounded road trip. Planned just enough, things worked out a little bit better than just enough, thoughts were clean and pure, saw old friends, had synergetic experiences throughout, saw beautiful beautiful country, did it all safely and made it back for work. Saw two shows, both unique in that the Fillmore was a gathering of friends and the second show was with Lance and Uncle Jim at the base of Copper Ski Mountain during the day. Great great stuff, thank you holy spirit for this adventure. You filled it up yet again.

I feel as if I walked up on top of a large hill this weekend and got a good look around me for the first time since I started working at Deer Valley, since I started going on top of a mountain everyday literally. The experience has been great but the season is coming to an end and it’s easy to burn out when you’re a lift operator. There’s only so much mirth one can muster up for so little, and now that the snow isn’t that great there’s even less of an incentive. I live the bonus driven life and spring is my next bonus, so for now I’m rich rich man…
